Working On Enamel Paint

Have a friend who was wondering if I would be a single cab dump truck. He said it has enamel paint which im guessing is like a single stage paint or am I wrong? He wants it buffed and the interior done so im trying to figure out if I want to tackle it or not. Any tips on working with enamel paint and how it differs time wise compared to clear coated paint? I have a flex 3401 by the way. Thanks

Also would the pads I use only be able to be used on enamel paint jobs in the future?

I think Len had a thread on enamle paint a while back Derek. conclusion was it is VERY hard paint and tough to correct and he ended up turning down the deal

alright...any ideas on whether the pads would be junk after they are used on enamel
