Strip wash or recoat Americana?

With the 70 degree weather we are having in Texas right now and the day off tomorrow I am going to wash and then glaze and wax the car. I last waxed with Americana 3 months ago so is it best to strip that off and reapply or just skip glaze and layer on a coat of Americana?

3 months... I would strip.

 

Best way to tell though is just check out the beading action

it doesn't take much effort to add a little bit of APC to the wash bucket. so just go ahead and strip it.

 

did you clay it 3 months ago also? if not, i would do that also!

I did clay it 3 months ago but I was planning on the Baggie test. Went to heb for some meds and kept the bag just for this reason. I wish I could correct everything but not enough time for that, just gotta protect it again and bring back some shine without polish.

Was your paint stripped before the 3 mo. old application? If so I wouldn't strip again, two layers would not be too much of build up. If it were me I would go with BG and then Americana!

You can clay and strip in the Spring.

After the spray down with the pressure washer it was pretty obvious it needed to be stripped and have the works done to it. Being my daily it sees action well daily and it had some water spots and road grime built up. Just got done claying it and after the game it will be Americana and maybe brilliant glaze if I have time before our car meet tonight. Ps for all you northeners it's 70 degrees here in tx today
