I figure since I protect the rest of my truck why not the toolbox? I have seen older black powdercoated toolboxes that get an oxidized or chalky look after years in the sun. Americana? MSS? QS? I have a bunch of powder coated parts on my truck and they have all faded over time, completely my fault for not waxing them. I do wax them now!
