Question

I'm going to make my first run at polishing the Crown Vic next week and I just want to get some thoughts if this ghosting can be reduced with a good polish. I have the Junkman kit with the PC, so no Severe Swirl and Haze Remover, but I have the rest of the process to Machine Super Wax.

I have this ghosting on the front fenders and he trunk lid.

I'd say most likely, or at least you'll be able to make it much less noticeable. Wash, clay, SHR a number of times, and see what it gets you. You'll probably end up doing the whole trunk so as to make it consistent (that car looks pretty neglected), and then doing the whole car to make it match the trunk. It never ends. :lolsmack:

Good luck, and post up your after pics so we can see how it comes out.

Thanks, guys. I don't think this thing was ever more than washed when it was in service. The paint is in terrible condition, so the whole car will done. I wil take plenty of before ane after pics.
