Jasssc Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Alright, here is my entry for the Detail Something Different competition. I have an absolutely thrashed iPad case that I got off amazon for $2. it didn't come to me in the best shape and I'm sure I have made it worse over the months. This also shows you what the normal wear of the back of your electronics go through without a case. On to the detail! Process: Waterless Wash Wipe Down Clay with Detail Spray 5+ passes of Severe Swirl Remover 10+ passes of SHR 5+ passes of FMP Brilliant Glaze Americana Picture Time: Before pictures. This thing was trashed FMP After 5 passes of FMP It looked better, but was still not even close, so I stepped it up to SHR, then immediately followed with SSR. Here is a few passes of SSR. This is my time saving way of showing pictures. This is passes 10- 20+, it is a gif of every other pass I made. Didn't want to post up all of the pictures of barely improving. http://picasion.com I was about to give up... so I just decided to finish up with FMP and call it a day... Here is the result after 5 more passes of FMP Brilliant Glaze in action Americana in Action After Shots! Dylan Shot: Thanks for looking! I had a blast doing this (even as frustrating as it was)
