slowman
Found this on another message board I am on. Thought it was very neat to see photos of this quality (I'm sure they have been spruced up by todays tech) from way back in the day. I could look through photos like these for days, years even. JBlack151
Those are really cool. A few of us in our office are trying to see if any of those tug boats in the New York photos are from our company. Thanks for sharing

DenaliDan
Great stuff! I love looking at old pics. Been doing a lot of this lately with family pics that have been accumulating over the past 100 yrs or so and now scanned in. Really interesting finds. chas
Wow what a great set of pictures. If only you could go back in time briefly to experience all that yourself and get a chance to talk to some of those souls in those pictures.
slowman
Wow what a great set of pictures. If only you could go back in time briefly to experience all that yourself and get a chance to talk to some of those souls in those pictures. That's exactly what I was thinking while looking at each one. I just want to feel and experience the atmosphere/ambiance and mood of when and where each picture was taken. Could think about this all day! lol.
Marylander
Very cool. It's amazing to see how far US warships developed between 1865 and 1896.
