I didn't want to have to run BF3 on medium settings with my old HP with an AMD Athlon II Quad Core 630. Great CPU, but a little behind the times. I like maxing these games out. I fired up Crysis 2 the other night with full DX11 and Tessalation enabled, and it ran and looked absolutely stunning with the new rig. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for the GTX 690, I suggest you would wait if you haven't bought it yet - new videos cards coming out in a month or two, they will be a lot better. Sorry to jack original post -- good luck with sale! Yeah It's going to be a couple moths anyway before buying that. I thought the only cards they were releasing were the 650 and 660 models though? EDIT: I think it might be the GTX 685 based on the GK110 Kepler platform. From what i'm reading, it's all speculation at this point on release date. Some people are saying Q4 2012. Still no price tag or anything. Other people are speculating that the GK110 cards aren't even going to release until 2013.
