Removing wax on a cloth roof

Hello, I am detailing a Crown Vic (old man car) with a blueish gray cloth Landau roof (fake convertible top) that has a few old wax stains on it..............

I tried some alcohol and a tooth brush on a small area but it discolored the area.

Any tips on what to try on removing the wax stain??

All purpose cleaner. That's what I would try in a small area and see how it works.

You may want to dilute it first.

What about interior upholstery cleaner. On the adams videos they show Ashley cleaning a cloth roof. I can't remember what product she used but she also used the interior brush. Heck it might have been car shampoo and water dilution.
