Using Waterless Wash to clay

I have a question for you guys. Can I use WW to clay my truck? Reason is that Im running low on DS and I want to save it to wipe off the FMP and MSS followed by BG and finally Buttery. Its too late to order some as I am doing this tomorrow. Someone please let me know! Thanks!

I'd personally (and do) use the WW to do the latter and the DS for the clay. WW may cause the clay not to work as well due to the insulating properties of the WW. You can also use about a tablespoon of Adams car wash to 16oz of water as a clay lube to get you through.

Yes, you can use WW, but it doesn't lube quite as well. Chewy's other suggestion is a better alternative, if you ask me -- save your WW for it's real use.

Thank you guys! Ill mix up some adams car wash and water into a spray bottle and go at it. Pics to follow. I cleaned the wheels and wheel wells today. Then I did a strip wash so i can start claying bright and early. I also shampooed the carpet inside my truck for the first time since ive bought it over 2 years ago. Not nearly as dirty as I was expecting. Then the sun decided it had enough for one day and went down.

I use whatever the cheapest detail spray that I can find for just clay. I might try the Adams shampoo since I bought a gallon of it

Waterless tends to be too slippery and prevents the clay from making good contact... if you were to use it I'd suggest watering it down significantly.
