0 Redbeard
Not quite. They were on the truck when I bought it (first vehicle I bought, mid-90s) so I'm not sure how old they were. They weren't in tip-top shape but they did shine. Are they bare aluminum, no clearcoat?

0 Redbeard
Bare aluminum, sat in a field for 4 years Wow! What was your method with the polish?
0 J.greenroyd
I started with a blue applicator block and metal polish one. Did that for about 2 hours then did metal polish 2. Then i remember i had the 4 inch metal polish pads for the drill. They made a huge difference, it gets pretty messy but its alot easier with the drill

0 Ian6
great job, probably woulda been faster if you wet sanded with 1500, 2000, and 2500, then a rubbing compound or more aggressive compound then the adams metal polish. great job tho, how much did you pay for em? I bet you could sell them for twice what you bought em for when youre done with all of them
