I've never seen glass etched so bad with water marks as I see in this new... Yes NEW Truck.
Can't really get a photo with my iPhone 5....
Here's what I've used.
1. CLAY
2. Adams GC with Glass towel (have linting issues with them... That's another issue altogether)
Moved to plan B.
3. Mixed half an empty Adams bottle of distilled white vinegar (5% acidity) with a squirt (2 tablespoons or so) of real lemon juice (not concentrate). And a short squirt of dish soap.
4. Put that on and used the adobe end of a window squeegee, then used the squeegee end and a MF towel to finish.
Still have same level of water scale.
Is there a Vinegar with a higher level of acidity I should look for? Did I make a mistake adding the lemon juice and dish soap?
Is there a next level of removal used when vinegar just doesn't do the trick?
I know this has been covered before... But I don't think it was as extreme as this.
I looked at this truck today in my garage with halogens.
This thing is screwed for a new truck. I've done cars with 30k miles that lived outdoors and weren't this bad.
