  1. Is that Dave Strictler as in "Old Reliable" Dave Strictler that used to be a 1/4 mile Chevy driver? I saw him break the 11 second barrier (11.93 I think) with his 63 427 A/FX Impala at York US30 Dragway (I think...it was a long time ago). At that time, 11 seconds was unheard of for a full size car.
  2. Easy way.....If he is next to you, ask him to take a look at your car. Tell him you just used some "new" stuff from a company called Adams Polish and you would like an opinion. After he sees what Adams can do, ask him if he would like to see what it looks like on his car and try the Adams product. Viola....a convert.
  3. If this is really a "new" truck, I think I would be having a conversation with the dealer I bought it from.
  4. There may be hope for our country yet.....
  5. Have hot water installed in your garage...You don't need a flood to wash your car. I grew up in Valley Stream......left in '62.
  6. Great pictures, what kind of camera are you using?
  7. When using the washing machine, stop the agitator after the first minute an let the towels soak. Have a beer of cup of coffee and then restart the washing machine. This allows the towels to soak and help in breaking down any polish that is embedded in the fabric. Also...if your machine has an extra rinse cycle, use it. Just my $.02
  8. Is there anything that will bring the rich black color back to a convertible top. The top on my '01 C5 is fine but has light "streaks" where it folds. Cleaning and treating with Ragg Topp doesn't get it done.
  9. How does he get a Corvette through an automatic car wash? Isn't the car too low and the tires too wide for the moving track?
  10. US NAVY ATN3 1964-1968 VR21 NAS Barbers Point Hawaii
  11. Might be wrong but I do not think clay removes wax. Jason?????????
  12. To clean the area between the front calipers and the wheel try a small spackle knife and wrap a small piece of micro fiber cloth over the blade. Wet the cloth thoroughly and push the MF cloth between the caliper and wheel (being very careful) using the spackle knife. Does a nice job without having to move the car. Works really well on my C5.
