Polished my shut off valve and quick disconnect

Mark L

Recommended Posts

I was bored today, so I thought what better time to polish my brass Dramm shut off valve and Adam's quick disconnect brass set

*This is after I polished out a set of jumper cables the other day :D

I used Metal Polish 1 & 2 with 2 separate 4" metal polishing pads on my Milwaukee cordless drill :D

Onto the pics:

How do you like that? I have been wanting one but cant really justify it to myself to soend 50 on a water nozzle.

It's one of the best things I've ever bought, no doubt.

It's definitely worth every cent.

It will literally last you the rest of your life, no joke.

Looks good. You must have been bored!!

Believe it or not, it didn't take but 20 minutes max.

The polishing pads are very quick to polish any metal.

I just went over the residue with an old sock and it shined like crazy :D

Classic !! Looks good Mark.

I thought I was the only one that found things that nobody would think of to polish.

Haha, like I said before, I did a pair of jumper cables the other day

HOT DAMN! That came out nice.

Thanks Dylan

Nope, never served.

I wanted to wash my car, but the damn wind here has been going strong for weeks now. No use washing it, cause it's covered in sap and pollen the next day. Waiting for a break in the wind real soon.

There is a lot of brass to shine in the Navy. You can still wash it. Getting the pollen off is important even if it will get covered again. I go through that evolution every year. Our yellow pollen season started in January this year and lasted until early this month. I feel your pain.

Yeah I just washed it on Sunday, wanted to give it another once over the past 2 days, but too windy. Today's looking like a winner, plus my Interior Detailer came this morning, so I'll go over the inside with it :D

Can't wait to try it out.

Used the TID yesterday and loved it! Especially the little q-tip applicators.

I love the minty smell the TID has, really neutralized the car.

Another great Adam's product :D
