j-r35
New guy checking in here from Alaska. Just actually started taking detailing seriously last year as a hobby. Used to used meguires before switching over to all adams products last year. My minor collection on products i use to maintain my tundra, wifes toureg, and my gtr. j-r35
Thanks guys. Only pic I have at the moment of the gtr was when it was over at Switzer Performance Innovation. Try and dig up any pics I have of the tundra and toureg.

Lunchbox
Good luck keeping your rides swirl free up there. I lived in Anchorage for the past 6 years. I almost gave up on detailing because it was so hard to keep up with it. That and the shipping to get products up there was crazy. All that being said I was kind of sad to have to move away. Nice ride!
matts88yj
Welcome! Where exactly in Alaska are you from? My better half was just up there two weeks ago. Awesome looking car in that color. For some reason the darker gray/gunmetal colors look amazing on a vehcile with aggressive lines. StormChaser

Redbeard
If I lived in Alaska I suppose I'd need a GTR simply for the all-wheel-drive. And I suppose the Switzer goodies would help outrun any angry bears, caribou, etc. Safety first, ya know. j-r35
Thanks guys. I'm located in Anchorage. I know it's a pain to keep swirls away during the winter months as my Tundra is black and in need of a major detail at the moment.

In all seriousness, I'm loving the GTR. How often do you get to take her out?

j-r35
Haha, yeah mostly winter months but this is actually my first year w/it. Brought it out mid april and have been driving it since, except when it dumped snow twice.
StormChaser
Welcome to the forum! If you had joined earlier (before I flew out) I could have brought you some goodies!!!! I lived in Anchorage for 4 years (worked for GEICO at the time). I was there and had Humpys (boy I miss fresh fish). I would live there again if I could but I can't for health reasons. I still have a ton of friends there that I see. Matt and I will be visiting hopefully in 2015. I have a friend who has a nice boat in Seward and so we will go fishing and spend the night on the boat! You have some nice rides and I bought my SS up there in Anchorage and drove it to Virginia. The winters are brutal but doable! Welcome again.
