DA Drill Attachment

I've been wondering this for a while now... since only one company makes this DA Drill attachment I figured it would be ok to ask about. 

 

Has anyone tried the Megs DA Drill Attachment with Adam's Products for spot correction?

 

Don't know how well/unwell it would work with it's speed restriction. Kicked around the idea of buying one to use for spot corrections with Adam's 4" pads.

I venture over their forum and I have seen some good results with it.  It should work just fine with Adam's.

IF you have a PC already, I don't see the need for this tool.  This seems like something marketed towards a weekend warrior, more than a detailer...

Well right now the 4" pad is the ONLY reason why I still have my PC and haven't sold it. Figured if I sold it for $80 and bought the drill attachment I could free up some space in my garage and make $40.

I've read the da power system is more like forced rotation like the flex.

With the 4" attachment, the PC is a little beast man!

Have you considered buying a backing plate meant for 3in pads?

 

Think about carpet cleaning attachments as well.

Put Locktite on my focus pad backing plate setup for PC (have prior model) and use the PC for focus pads and BG/Machine Sealant only.

I'm not sure if you have a Northern Tool around you but if you do I got one for $19.99 there. Haven't tried it yet but since is was $49.99 I figured I would give it a try.

I have the DA Drill Attachment. I only used it once. The pads that came with it were not that good and really too small to do a full size car. It would work for spot corrections but I would stay with your PC since you already have that.
