Liquid Paint Sealant Wait Time

Hey Guys,

 

Got a question in regards to the new liquid paint sealant.  In the product description and the Adam's video, it states that you don't have to wait after removing the sealant to layer with other products.

 

The label on the liquid paint sealant states to wait at least an hour before layering other products.

 

Anyone know why this is and which once is correct?

30-60 minutes should suffice depending on the humidity level.  My guess is your humidity is pretty darn low so I'd bet you could top after 30.

Just applied Liquid Paint Sealant yesterday.  Is there any benefit to applying a second coat?

I would say it probably states that on the bottle just to be on the safe side.

 

I haven't used the new LPS, but I've layered right after quick sealant with with no wait time and no issues.

I usually wait 30 minutes, but you are right on humidity.  I usually go 2 layers just as a second cover-up and it does add just a little extra gloss with second coat.
