  1. I have quite a bit of revive. Just got see if I have something to put it in. Send me a PM and I can check when I got home from work
  2. Hello All, I was wondering how to care for coated leather. To my knowledge, it is coated with a plastic coating similar feeling to vinyl. Would leather conditioner do any good on coated leather?
  3. In my opinion, just use Adam's Microfiber Brightener and Revitalizer. If you've spent a couple hundred dollars on the towels, why not use the best to take care of them? I have been using it from the start in my HE washer and my towels still look brand new.
  4. Well, i guess we could try the adhesive remover and just be very very careful. Thanks for the tips!
  5. Yes, it is raised Yes that is correct. The new stripes were put on but was unable to get the alignment perfect over the old lines. The lines that need to be removed are above and below the pin stripe.
  6. Hello all, This car had some vinyl racing stripes on it for about 3 years. To remove the old stripes, I had to use an eraser wheel because it was so weathered. All the residue came off but there is a very distinct edge going all along the edges of where the stripe used to be. I have tried the eraser wheel, polishing, claying, everything to get these lines out with no luck. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks!
  7. Can't wait to try this new sealant. Love the innovation! When's the release?
  8. Cleaning Plasti Dipped Surfaces can be a little tricky. It is perfectly safe to use Adam's Car Shampoo on the spoiler and Green Wheel/Deep Wheel on the rims, just make sure to rinse it off before it dries. As a previous poster stated, if there is any sort of texture, washing with a pad or microfiber could get caught and be very annoying. DipYourCar.com has a product called Dip Washer for about $9 that is a rubbery type cloth that is used specifically for washing off dipped surfaces. I always apply VRT to my dipped surfaces to make them look amazing after the wash! Good luck!
  9. I have this same stool as well. Simple and gets the job done. Plus' harbor freight almost always has a 20-30% coupon you can find.
  10. Stories like these are only funny to true detailers....that's why they are awesome!
  11. I have the same problem with my sprayer as well. Think it's just the thickness of the product. I was a little weary about using the shine instead of the VRT, however I do like it a lot. Definitely nice to have an option whether to go shiney or a matte look.
  12. I finally pulled the trigger and bought an electric pressure washer and a foam cannon. Definitely feel like it's the way to go over a foam gun. Definitely stays on longer with a lot more foaming action. Only used about 3 ozs of Adams shampoo and the rest filled with cold water
  13. Hey Guys, I have a client who I am perfomring a full detail on who has a small dent on his passenger door. He is saying that he is going to try some at home tricks to try to remove. Anyone have any luck or suggestions on how you've removed smaller dents without paying a professional? Do any of them work?
  14. I noticed in the new Introduction to Series 9 videos that Adam was using the cyclo with some carpet cleaning attachments. Is this a new product? I definitely want these!
  15. Doesn't seem like I'm getting too great of suds working with the car shampoo. I'm using the wool pad as well as the regular wash pad. Any tips or tricks to get those nice big suds?
  16. Anyone on here wash their towels in a HE washing machine with the Revitalizer? Does it work better, the same, or worse than a standard washer? Do you add the revitalized where the detergent goes or just add to water? Thanks!
  17. Here's a before and after pic of a Trans Am I detailed a few weeks ago.
  18. Since your bay is not that dirty, you can go the wipe down method. Also, it depends on how you plan on drying. If you have a blower of some kind (I personally use the Master Blaster Sidekick) then it will be no problem getting everything dry after hosing it down. If you don't have one, it would be a big pain trying to get everything dry so the spray and wipe down method might be easier. If you do go the hose down method, you use a light fan just to soak the bay and cover any after market air filters, battery, or alternator. Good luck!
  19. Hey Guys, Got a question in regards to the new liquid paint sealant. In the product description and the Adam's video, it states that you don't have to wait after removing the sealant to layer with other products. The label on the liquid paint sealant states to wait at least an hour before layering other products. Anyone know why this is and which once is correct? Thanks!
