Waxing and sealant Order

Would I do paint sealant and then do buttery wax if I wanted to do both on my car?  I just wnat to make sure I have the right order.  Also, what kind of tape would I need to buy to tape off my vinyl stripes so I don't get wax or sealant on them?  Thank.s

Yes.  You apply sealant first.  Wax is an optional second step.

 

Any decent quality painter's tape WITHOUT chemical additives (e.g., Edge-Lock, FrogTape, etc).  There's a good thread on this topic located here.
