New Orange Pad is building up something after first use

First use, thought it could have been maybe too much product? 

 

Tried washing it off  >.< Lots of dawn to try to get it off and still there. 

 

Can I keep using this pad? The build up isnt rough, well doesnt seem like it.

 

Kinda have to zoom in to see the build up.

 

What do you guys think?

Kinda tough to see in the pics, but I've had some pretty rough pads in the past! 

 

Did you clay the car first?  If so, after claying, did you check the paint, using a thin plastic bag, to ensure all desposits were removed?  You might want to reclay the car before continuing.  Also, remember to prime the pad with Detail Spray.

Do you have a pad cleaning brush? That could help.

 

All Purpose Cleaner really does a good job with the pads with warm water.

I'd say clean the pad as good as you can, then re-wash the vehicle and re-clay like the other ones said

 

If for some reason the black stuff remains on the pad, I'd toss it and get another one

You can use it like that you will just get more than usual dusting......try soaking it in water and APC.
