694doorbird
I recently bought one of those 56 volt EGO battery operated mowers. It's has a composite deck. If I spray the underside of it with Quick Sealant, will it help prevent grass clipping from sticking, and how long can I expect it to last? 0 Ricky Bobby
Well I just powerwashed the snot out of the underside of the deck on my 52" Advantage Scag mower 2 weeks ago, and was already getting stuff clinging to it on the next time I mowed. I think its the nature of the beast, moist grass does tend to stick somewhat. If your deck is new and painted though, sealing it with Quick Sealant should be a good start and at least help it clean up better. I will powerwash it again this weekend and maybe try some QS on mine to see if it makes a difference.
