    sealant - gray pad
     
    Revive - blue hex
    buttery - yellow hex
    glaze - red hex
    sealant - red hex or pro-tire hex, or black microfiber pad (many options)

    Your analogy is right - you'll get a ton of shine with the paint sealant - adding Buttery on top is not going to do any more for you, as you said if anything make it from a 5 to a 6 - just hit it once a month with G&G if you want to boost protection and shine and do wipedowns with Detail Spray as usual

    There are tons of videos.  Are you polishing to remove defects?  Perhaps a pic of them would help with a plan of attack.  If they are clearcoated you will polish/correct and protect with sealant just like paint.
     
    I recommend a thorough cleaning with plenty of brushes and Adams Deep Wheel Cleaner first off.

    Brush won't do any harm, its actually recommended.
     
    APC and brushing, then rinse well.
     
    The good part about it is that it won't fade and need to be dressed with Undercarriage Spray like normal plastic wheel liners.
