694doorbird
Starting Saturday my iPad will not recognize the password for my email. I've gone into settings and reset the password with no help. I've also done a reboot with no help. I have no problem receiving email on the computer or phone. Any ideas short of going to Cox and totally resetting my password? AvsBest
What email service are you using? ICloud, hotmail... Hotmail is not very friendly on apple since last year
694doorbird
I'm using Cox Communications, phone and Internet. I've had no problems until I opened the iPad Saturday morning.
BluedogGMC
It might have something to do with security settings on the Ipad.
LFairbanks
Does any of this mean anything? http://www.cox.com/residential/support/internet/article.cox?articleId=133b69d0-845d-11df-6baf-000000000000 Have you tried changing your password? Some email servers will make you do it. I asked my brother who works IT for a large power company and he said they make people change their passwords and give them a 2 week heads up or it will lock them out. Some email servers will make you do it. I asked my brother who works IT for a large power company and he said they make people change their passwords and give them a 2 week heads up or it will lock them out. That's exactly how I set the iPad up. It has been working just fine for the last several years. For some strange reason, it stopped accepting the password. Phone and computer work just fine, so it's something in the iPad. I plan on resetting the password with cox then delete and reinstall the email on my iPad.
