chops1sc
What would be the best polish for this plastic trim? The fake wood pieces have swirls that come to life in the sun, lol! Edited June 26, 2015 by chops1sc
0 Odds and Ends
Those "fake wood" pieces are cleared, so treat them the same way as you treat your swirly paint, which is actually swirly clear... A little Paint Finishing Polish should do the trick or since you'll be working by hand, the extra bite of Paint Correcting Polish might be necessary. Put some sealer or wax on them when you're done and be careful wiping them down to prevent them from coming back. Brilliant Glaze looks great on these trim pieces too! - Darryl
0 Team Adam's
^^^ Bingo. The hardest part is working in the confines of the interior and effectively masking off the adjacent panels b/c no tape wants to stick to that textured plastic very well, but basically just polishing it like you would anything else with swirls is all it takes. If you can manage to take the dash apart and work on it outside of the truck its easiest. rwisejr
