Hi John, welcome to our community!

Your clear coated Viper wheels can be polished in the same way your paint is polished.

Give this a go, after thoroughly cleaning your wheels:

  1. Use a Clay Bar and Detail Spray, and remove the contaimants, baked in brake dust, etc.
  2. Create a comfortable way to sit in front of a wheel. (you'll have 4 to do, and getting this part figured out early is a good call, trust me! :2thumbs:
  3. Use a comfortable stool, one of our buckets, or
  4. Remove the wheels to polish on your bench. (Actually a great idea since you want to do a thorough cleaning on the front and rear of the wheels at least once!)
  5. Using our Swirl & Haze Remover, and a Microfiber Applicator Pad, polish them spoke-by-spoke.
  6. Follow with the Revive Polish, or Fine Machine Polish.
  7. Remove the residue. Looking good? Great!
  8. Not looking as good as you would like: Repeat steps 5&6 )Several times times if needed.)
  9. Finish off with Buttery Wax, or Machine Super Wax.

If you can, PLEASE take before, during, and after photos and post them here. Excellent B&A Photos submitted will be rewarded with $25 Gift Certificates.

Thanks John, and we look forward to your photos!

Sorry to hear about the re-surgence of winter, and please keep us posted with your results! Do you have the garage and time to pull the wheels off to clean and polish them well the first time?

That would be a stellar photo - write up John!

Thanks, and I hope warm-sunny skies find you soon.:D

Hey John, I have similar situations with getting a jack under my 32 and G8. I built some simple ramps out of wood to help. I took a 5' 2x8 and put a 45 angle on the end. I then took a 3.5' 2x8 and nailed it to the first one with the back ends lining up. I then added another 2' one on top of those. I now have a pair of ramps that I just push up to the tires and then drive up on. I put a stop on the end so I can't drive off. Now I can put the jack under the car and raise it up to put the jack stands. I can't use those steep metal ones that you can buy because the 32's axle won't clear and the G8's front end won't clear. This would work on the rear as well. Just a thought!

We need to get you one of our Clay Bars, Plush Towels, and small foam applicators when they come out.

When you see them on the site, remind me and I'll shoot you a care package!

Thanks again for making and posting these videos, we have a JunkMan in training here!
