Geebee
Dumb question, but anybody know a good way to clean the engine bay insulator that's mounted on the hood? I did some brushing and vacuuming out the dust, but I'd like to get it a little shiny. I don't know what the material is so..... 0 mc2hill
I have used foaming tire shine to make it look a little better. The foaming action brings the dirt to the surface, and the shine gives it a matte finish. Wipe it with a terry cloth work towel, but don't scrub it. What foaming tire shine did you use? Edited December 7, 2016 by Geebee
0 DREWBUSH
Its a synthetic fiber material that is pressed/molded into the shape. They are commonly used on under panels of vehicles also. They will absorb fluids and slowly drip out. I know, Ive done dozens of coolant leaks on cars with those under panels, the fluid just drips for days. So dont dont saturate it too much.
