Just watched the video for the new ceramic wheel coating kit (thanks to notifications of subscribed channels!!), and I am really excited for this use case of ceramic coatings in particular. My question is: can ceramics be applied to portions of the wheel that are not painted? I dont know if there is a clear coat, I assume not.
Its a 2014 Ford Taurus SHO without the Flower rims. These (along with the flowers) have painted black and what appears to be non-painted surfaces on the front of the wheel. The barrel is painted black.

Here is a link to someone else's pic of the wheels: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/73/2c/00/732c00d730dacf5276e34044e9fa88e1.jpg
