Matt Detailer and Ceramic Coatings

Is the  Matt Detailer a good alternative to Detail Spray for a quick wipe down on ceramic coatings as opposed to using Ceramic Boost every time?

Yes, it is.  The matte detail spray has no wax in it so it won't interfere with the hydrophobic properties of the coating.

I brought this same topic up to Dan@Adams a few months back.  He strongly advised to use waterless wash on ceramics rather than the matte detail spray for wipe downs.

While it may not be recommended, you can "get away with" using the Matte Detail spray on a coated vehicle.  My son's Challenger is coated and I've used the Matte Detailer for quick wipe downs to remove garage dust and fingerprints.  With that said, the Waterless wash is a better alternative for a quick wipe down and is more economical and easier to apply than the Ceramic Boost.  I've tried both the Matte Detailer and Waterless Wash and I prefer the Waterless Wash for this application.
