our84
Is there any significant difference in end result between the older MSS and the new (and improved ) LPS?
0 mc2hill
No, the results are the same, but the newer versions a little easier to use by hand. MSS really needed to be applied by machine to get it thin enough to remove easily. The new versions of (Liquid) Paint Sealant can be applied by hand (but still a thin coating) and still remove without issue.
0 falcaineer
Not familiar with the older MSS, but the newest version of PS is also designed to last longer than the previous PS, so my guess is it lasts longer than the MSS, as well. 6 months or more. 0 BigBlue2007
I still have some Machine Super Wax (really a sealant) from 2011. Which is the predecessor to Machine Super Sealant and Paint Sealant. I used it a friends car and the product still works, the issue with the product is you had to let it set for like 30 minutes and you have to wait 24 hours to put any other product over it (glaze, wax, etc.). MSS was an improvement I think over MSW. Paint Sealant is better than both (easier to apply, less set up time).
