Ceramic coating bronco plastic fenders and bumper.

marjen

Question

I have an adams ceramic coating kit that i am going to be applying. Can I also use it to apply the coating to the plastic fenders and rear bumper? How about windows? Also how long does the car need to sit after applying the coating.  Thanks.

It can be used but be sure to wipe it off to avoid any trim turning white.  And it works fine on glass.

Thanks though the chance it can possibly turn it white is concerning.

Make sure it's completely clean first, apply the coating, then wipe it down to level after 20-30 seconds. Doing that, you should be just fine. The chalkiness seems to happen when people apply it but don't level or remove the residue (the old instructions said that was ok, they've since been updated). I've never had an issue when I leveled it, especially within a short amount of time as mentioned above.
