0 11chevz71
That depends, what is an AFE ? I belive he is saying about his afe air intake filter. In my opion the kit from K and n is only 11 dollars a new filter is alot more. And i even use the k and n on my volant air filter all it did was just turn it red. 0 xcracer48
We have about 10-20 air filters in the shop from our race quads and bikes. It is safe to use the APC on filters both paper and foam. I have used simple green, purple power, greased lightning. The APC will work very well! I personally think K&N recharge kits are overpriced and not worth it. Make sure to use warm water and APC while cleaning. Do 2-3 cleaning cycles using fresh warm water and APC. Keep changing water until it is clean when done cleaning. After cleaning cycles rinse really well with water, and allow time to dry before applying filter oil!
