BSG durability

Everyone says how it dosent last long. I must be the only one who thinks differently??? I think it gives some extra shine for at least a week.....anyone else feel this way. Also bugs and dirt just slide off when washing. I wash every week and BSG every other wash. I just wondered if anyone else thought it made a difference longer?

By nature glazes are not durable... of course if your paint isn't exposed to a lot of heat, sun, and water then it will last. So if you're weather is relatively mild and you don't wash it BSG should last a week +/-

I notice it lasting a week or so but I park underground at work and it is garaged at night.

Wish my car was that lucky. Bakes outside my apt during the day and same thing when I'm at work. It also gets to drive in the snow. The only relief it gets is when I put the cover on it.

Ha!... about 2 hours per day as I have an 80 mile commute. Been wiping Benz down ever day after work with DS and it keeps it looking great.

I find the "effect" lasts longer on the windows and chrome than the "look" on paint.

I think because mines kept in a garage most of the time, the BSG lasts a lot longer for me...so I have to agree with you:thumbsup:

Glazes always produce amazing results. I never found one that was very durable, but that isn't their intended purpose. More of a car show day thing.

I'll add to this.

 

Last Monday I finally did my entire truck with BSG and was thrilled with the look. 6 days later and the shine is still as good as it was after applying it.

 

My truck gets sunlight from sunrise to sunset and I get dew on it overnight. I live close to the ocean and everynight it gets wet. It still holds, I dont have water marks from driving into work early in the morning. It just rolls off!

 

Def. a product to use more often now.
