The Super Machine Wax(SMW) is really a sealant that can last up to 6 months. The Buttery Wax will look great, but will need to be reapplied often. Many members have had excellent results topping SMW with Buttery Wax or Americana (after the 24 hour cure process of course).

Machine Super Wax (MSW) is a sealant, and if you do use it wait 12 hours and do an additional wipe down as there will be residue that will need to be removed. Then you can follow up with BW or APW after for an amazing finish !!!!!!

That's what I get for not checking my notes!

thanks its like having to go through high school chemistry all over again

Almost Ken, but the results are more fun (and no Periodic table).

Does the Machine wax give a better shine then Buttery wax?

Do you wipe down 12 Hrs after the Machine wax with a dry micro fiber towel or do you wipe it down using Detail spray?

The shine is the same. Remember, polish is what makes paint shine, wax protects it. The difference is how long they last and the fact that MSW acts more like a sealant than a wax. It last much longer.

I would do the wipe down using the Waterless Wash myself.
