reaper8253
Hey guys, working on getting tree sap off the new dd. It's on there pretty heavy. Any ideas? I tried WD-40 as a few suggested but doesn't really cut it? what about heating it up with a heat gun? Any thoughts? thanks
0 NightMare Silverado
waterless wash and detail spray. you might need to clay if that doesn't work.
0 Bill-V8V
Goo Gone has worked for me, just wash real good after you use it
0 Adam
If it's super hard, the hair dryer trick will likely melt the sap a little. Then, use some solvent, like thinner or goo-gone, to gently remove the sap. Â If it's still hard after using the heat, try a plastic putty knife, like the yellow ones they sell in line at Home Depot. Â Keep us posted, and take photos if possible! Â -Adam:2thumbs:
0 11chevz71
IF it is really sticky it is a pain to get off. But most likely goo-gone is going to be your best bet. It will take awhile but it should come off. Just remeber to wax the area again once you are done because the goo gone will most likely strip your wax off.
