Storage

Question

The fridge in my garage quit working. I'm also not in the mood to replace it, got other things to spend the little bit of money on. I was wondering about using it to store my Adam's products in. I figure since it's insulated, it should stay above freezing in the winter and not to hot in the summer. During the winter my garage stays in the 35-40 degree range. I've never really check the temps in the summer, but outside temps run between 90-105. Would a non-working fridge make a good storage cabinet?

as a " katrina" veteran - even an empty frig / freezer has a stink to it when the chill wears off. If you're gonna use it for storage - get a bag of charcoal - lay it horizontal and open it up - the charcoal will absob the stink.
