GerryC
apc and a soft toothbrush. plastic trim isn't a perfectly flat surface most of the time, they usually have some sort of texture to them. the toothbrush will help get all of the wax residue out of the plastic. then follow up the area with some plain water and a towel, dry, then apply VRT

Michael415
Not to threadjack... but would you guys also suggest using APC on getting residue off black rubber? I have had limited success with just washing getting the polish off the rubber seals where the dealer's detailer hit it somehow with wax.
GerryC
APC should take care of any white dried wax/polish residue on any plastic or rubber trim. Just be sure to follow the cleaning with VRT to keep the rubber moisturized and dark
