b_pappy
Hey folks, I'm having a rough time here. I can not access my website from my home computer via AT&T u-verse. I can get to it from home. I have seemingly reset and cleared everything on my computer, spoke to my web developer, my IT guy and AT&T. Everyone says it is the "other" guy. Could someone using AT&T U-verse try and access http://www.Bruce4Adams and e-mail me? I'm about to throw everything out... Hope this request is clear, I'm a little pi$$ed right now. This has been going on for a week. How about $25.00 free product to whoever solves this? Thanks, Bruce C. Natch02
Bruce, I have U-Verse also. I just tried to go the underlined link, but it has a blank page.
b_pappy
Thanks, I'm online with AT&T and they can't access it either. I meant to say in the original post that I can get to it from work, not at home.
The Ryan
Bruce - there is something wrong with your server. I have Verzion FiOS (at home) and I get "cannot find server" error. Its not your U-Verse. I actually install and repair U-Verse for a living.
GerryC
well for starters you forgot the .com ?  http://www.bruce4adams.com/ works for me  if you log in to the uverse modem/router (login credentials should be on a label stuck to the bottom of the modem itself), there will be an option to reboot the service. I had a problem with the wireless computers in our house a few weeks ago, they were able to connect to the network but not to the internet,. rebooting the service fixed it
The Ryan
well for starters you forgot the .com ? http://www.bruce4adams.com/ works for me   Here I am; boasting, "I'm a U-Verse tech" and I missed that...   The correct link works for me
b_pappy
Progress from AT&T: Â Â Qwest is able to complete trace-routes.. So I would say you were correct from the start.. Some-how this must be being blocked from AT&T... Â Â Â I'm going to start creating an escalation ticket to our upper levels to ensure we can get this site unblocked for you... at the soonest time possible and I again sincerely apologize for this inconvenience sir. Weird. I can not access from home on either computer, but get in from work just fine. But some of you guys got in using U-Verse so they closed my ticket on me. Back to square one. I'll up the reward to $50.00 for the clue that solves the puzzle. Just don't send the answer to my website! LOL. Use Bruce4Adams (at)hotmail(dot)com. I can check for orders from work... GerryC
try to flush your dns cache in command prompt.  start->run type cmd in the command prompt window type ipconfig /flushdns  wait 10 minutes and try the site again   it could also be possible that your IP address changed to one that happens to be on your server's block list

b_pappy
Wow, finally got this fixed. My web guy had to come over in person and run it from my computer to believe it, then go back to the server and I guess stand behind the curtain and pull levers or something. I guess the server was blocking my IP address. All is well now. Bruce
