I was at my local Ace Hardware store this morning and saw this cheap hose end sprayer. It's made by Gilmour by sold under the Ace name. it works surprisingly well however I need to use a better soap. It has a dial adjustment on the top and I used a Mcguires soap water mix for the first try.
I couldn't find a link for it on their web site but here is the Gilmour link (it's the green one on the right...model 486)

The cost is about $10 and it will do the job until I save up for a proper foam gun. (I just blew my car piggy bank on Adams stuff)
