mc2hill
A couple of very high quality shows are back in reruns this summer - 'Freaks and Geeks' and 'The Wire. Freaks and Geeks was on NBC in early 2000, and follows the students in a high school in 1980. Judd Apatow was invovled in the show as a writer, director, and producer and you'll see lots actors from his movies in the show. The show was very well written and acted. It is on IFC Friday nights at 11. The Wire was on HBO for 5 seasons. A great show that should have won lots of awards. Season 1 is currently running on DirecTv channel 101 on Sundays at 9. Marylander
The Wire is awesome. It so perfectly captures the feel of Baltimore.
mc2hill
It so perfectly captures the feel of Baltimore. After watching this show that's kind of scary! Glad to hear they 'got it right' though.
