OK what is the definition of a "pass" as in it takes A.J. one pass to bring back a terrible finish or it took me 26 passes to still see swirl marks. Is a "pass" one swipe over an area or is it one session over your 2x2 area until the polish gets greasy? Does this question even make sense?

1 pass = Time from the polisher coming in contact with the surface until the polish has 'flashed' or been fully worked.

 

More product = longer pass time

High surface temp or ambient temp = faster pass time
