While I'm here, me and a couple of my buddies have noticed after using the guard and gloss, it's very difficult to use detail spray on the paint... makes it a smearing mess... any input on that? -

Well I guess I used entirely too much product... sun was out but not too hot. Beautiful weather. That being said I used a bunch... I didn't seem to be getting product to spread around like I wanted it to. I tried wringing the towel out and I tried it with a dripping wet towel. By what all yall are saying though, I can tell I just used WAY too much product... will attempt again. -
So I tried this product on my truck yesterday... to say the least I was not impressed! I'm hoping I did something wrong and yall can tell me what it is that I did wrong. I washed the entire truck with the 2 bucket method.... then while the panels were plenty wet, I went to use the guard and gloss. I misted some on a panel and commenced to smear it around with a wet rag... then over that with a dry double soft... I ended up having the product smeared all over the place and it was almost impossible to buff off... I ended up going back over it with a wet rag followed by a dry rag. Then it turned out fine... tell me what I did wrong?

Do you wash your TIRES?
abey15 replied to Marylander's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I spray an APC on the side walls and hit it with my pressure washer... If they are real bad hit em with APC and a brush... Works great for mine. Hope this helps Abraham -
Welcome from w.tx also. Where ya from boss?

Guys I was looking to do a little bit of hand polishing on some wheels and was wanting to see what kind of applicators yall are now using to get the job done? Thanks

They just don't make anything nicer than that! The wheels and that fat tire though...????

Just throwing this out there. I 100% agree with these ^^^ guys. I use Adams products too, but only on very few vehicles. My truck (of course) and a very few select vehicles around here. I wash vehicles every week. Where I'm from I am to the point of charging 60$ inside and out. That's what everyone here charges locally. I have a full time job and sometimes can't wash all my customers vehicles on the weekend because there is so terribly many... That's just here though. Good side income for sure... Get u something cheap to clean the everyday vehicles with. Understand that most of these people have had they're cars through a brush wash more times than u can count. Good luck with the gig:) -
I'm from seminole. Little bitty town bout 80 miles south of Lubbock.

What's up everyone. Been lurking a little bit, figured I'd throw my introduction out there. So hello, my name is Abraham and I am a detailing addict!
