Waxes don't 'stack' that well the most you'll be able to do and see any benefit is 2 thin coats. Anything beyond that is pretty much just wasting product.

 

Personally I like to do 1 thin coat at the time of the initial detail, then throw a second coat on the next time I wash.

Yep! I agree with Dylan for what it's worth. I DO put on 2 applications of sealant at a time though. I wait the recommended time between them though.

2-3 coats is fine, I always add 3 after a full correction.

I lay it down in three different directions just to make myself feel good knowing not one square inch was missed:)

 

If it makes you feel better than by all means do whatever:)

That's what I do.
