darn! post up i wanna see some magic! if u can fix that with SHR you are god.

Obviously you haven't seen any of the Junkman's video's. The majority of that damage is easy work if you know what your doing. I've fixed worse with FMP :2thumbs:

Now bill how long would it take you to fix this with FMP? I'm not challenging you just asking...

DSC06073.jpg?t=1249192595Oh and I found sound places that were pretty gritty with the clay, behind the tires was bad.

Whats weird is that the scratches from the trees don't catch with my fingernail so even though they look bad they actually aren't that deep I guess? Just like a really wide swirl I suppose

:iagree: They don't catch the finger nail but obviously are there, and look bad.

Depends on how many breaks I take :D:D

I work real real slow :lolsmack:

Don't take my response the wrong way, obviously a compound will work it faster than a polish but it is more than doable :2thumbs:

You can't be slower than me Bill. I get sidetracked so often that I forget why I was in the garage and why I came in the house. :willy:

For the pics everyone has been waiting for :)

50/50 compounded/not compounded, notice the haze leftover from using a compound with an orange pad.

DSC06131.jpg?t=1249334546Another picture of the haze

DSC06136.jpg?t=1249334635A husky toolbox I found in the truck, VRT at its best DSC06143.jpg?t=1249334667DSC06144.jpg?t=1249334716

Another picture showing the haze after the compoundDSC06158.jpg?t=1249334731

FMP/White pad > Haze ;)

DSC06162.jpg?t=1249334897Wheels and tires after 2 coats of 1:1 water/vrt (I used a mix because the lugs were so big the normal vrt wouldn't squish out of the sponge and go between the lugs.

DSC06173.jpg?t=1249334957

Shine after finishing, all trim received 4 coats of VRT (it was that bad)

DSC06180.jpg?t=1249335040

Close up of the door polished and the fender not.

DSC06187.jpg?t=1249335074

DSC06190.jpg?t=1249335110

Don't mind the spot of MSW that I missed while wiping off.

DSC06198.jpg?t=1249335125

DSC06074.jpg?t=1249192610

There is what I started out with^^ now it looks like this

DSC06207.jpg?t=1249335214DSC06202.jpg?t=1249335159

Thanks for looking!

The total process was...

Powerwash exterior

Wash wheels with GWC

Wash with dawn/NR (extra lube)

Clay with Adam's blue clay

2-3 passes Compounding with Orange pad/M105 @ Levels 4-5.6
