Completely agree here...I ordered some stuff from CG and couldn't believe that they just threw all the towels and supplies in the box...not wrapped, not same towels in same bags. I mean literally just threw them in a box and shipped them. Adams always looks like a neatly packaged present!

I have to 2 step polish so should I start with correcting polish or finishing polish....the truck is 9 years old and spent everyday outside so I figure it will need both steps....

I am about to start getting into paint correction and I have purchased the Flex 3401 and the new Adam's 2 step kit. I have watched all the videos and think that I have a good understanding on what to do. I was just wondering if there are any tips for a rookie at this to help me not make many mistakes. Thank you so much. BTW Are these the right settings for the machine for each process? Correction - 5 Polish - 5 MSS - 2-3?

I am pretty sure someone asked and Adam's said yes that they were available for pickup

After much debate in my head I bite the bullet just now and ordered the Flex and some washing supplies...I feel sick from the amount of money I spend but I should be very happy once it arrives. Can't thank the Adams staff enough for all the help they gave me.

Now I am right back to being confused

I am 99% ready,..Already have my shopping cart filled out...I am going to wait a day or two and just make sure that there isn't some Father's Day sale before I place my order...on such a large chunk of money if they did a 15% off for Father's day it will be worth the wait for sure! Now just to convince myself the Flex is 100% safe for me since I am a newbie

Well I am 99% ready to place my order, just have to decide Flex or PC...Heart says Flex, Wallet says PC I am just having a hard time justifying the money because I don't plan on doing this to make money (but at the same time if I get good at it I might start doing it on the side). Man this is a harder decision than it was to name either of my two boys. INSANE

Terra Grappler, Toyo AT 2, or Duratracs I personally used to love the BFG AT, but they are just too damn expensive and don't last like they used to.

You saying buy the Harbor Freight PC or the PC 7424xp?

I am almost afraid that it is already too hot to do it. I mean it is high 80s to low 90s here already...what temperature is too hot to work in? Part of me almost says to buy the Harbor Freight DA they have for $60 and use it to learn with and then get the Flex?

I am having such a hard time justifing the flex for some reason. It just seems like the PC would do everythign I need it do, but might take more time (how much more time I have no clue). Part of me says go Flex from the get go, but I don't have the funds for that...so it is either continue to save, or go ahead and get the PC and go to work.

Thank you so much for offering me to use your Flex and try things out. I honestly hope to have already bought something by Thanksgiving but the gesture means a lot. Have you used the Flex and the PC? Do you have any suggestions for a rookie?

What exactly is the Rupes? I googled it, but I never really saw a price or noticed what it did differentlly than the Flex...I am just worried that being a novice that I could mess something up with the Flex? I am waiting for the new polishes to come out as well before I buy anything. I am just researching right now to make sure I know exactly what I want to get when the time comes. Thanks a ton Tom.

Already notice a few familiar people on this forum. I am actually from Thomasville, GA which is about 30 miles north of Tallahassee, FL. I really am trying to figure out if the Flex is the way to go or if I should get the PC. I will really only be using it to correct my truck, the wifes ride, and probably a few rides for friends and family. As much as I hate to admit it I honestly think the more expensive Flex is going to be the way to go, so time to start saving!
