  1. So you're saying this would work fine: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/400/a3/a3b49248-f297-4323-90de-cf3afc4abffd_400.jpg[\url]
  2. No drainage needed since the garage floor is slightly angled towards the back door. All the water would run out the back.
  3. Finally got the security cameras up and running: Still have to hook up the internet for remote viewing from my cell phone.
  4. Made another Home Depot run this morning after going to the bank. Got some inside light upgrades (since my gf likes the warm white color we're keeping the outside lights as halogens): Then I got the walk in door knob and lock system:
  5. Electrician finalized his work today. We have power!!! And of course working lights!!! And outlets!!!
  6. The top kit in the picture is the clear
  7. I originally wanted to do the racedeck tile flooring but that idea appears to be on hold for now. So until we make the decision to actually go that route, I decided to stop off at home depot and get this for the floor:
  8. Just stopped off at home depot for some supplies.
  9. I wanted to detail someones car that needed some TLC for the weekly contest and write up. However, I didn't keep a track or detailed write up of what was done, so I'll just post the pictures of the detail: The owner wanted to learn about how to maintain and perfect the shine on her car so I had her assist me. I taught her about the two bucket wash, the plastic baggie test for clay bar, how to clay bar the windows and gave her all the tools needed to make her wheels just shine. Of course the steps taken for this detail were: 2 bucket wash clay bar paint correction paint finish liquid paint sealant buttery wax VRT on the front grills and rear diffuser turbo stick with APC for the exhaust Enjoy!!!
  10. I see Jimbo has made it to the forums!!! Jimbo, I had to go back into the archives to pull this picture out. One of our first visits to the tilted kilt EB:
  11. not sure yet. probably a center mount. Spackle guy showed up this morning. If you can see the cinder blocks down at the base, you'll notice white painted lines. I painted those so I'll know where the frame studs are for mounting purposes.
  12. Forgot to add these. My project during the week. Camera wires from the garage to the house:
  13. So Thursday, the insulation guy showed up: Then today, the sheet rock guy did his job:
  14. Spent this weekend installing and wiring up the cameras. Next part is to dig the trench for the conduit and actually have the connection of the cameras to the DVR Driveway camera: Rear door camera South side interior camera North side interior camera Cars out in the driveway enjoying the sun:
  15. The electrician decided he finally wanted to stop by this week:
  16. The electrician stopped by today for planning. Were doing 20 Amp circuits all the way around. 3 outside outlets (2 facing the house and 1 facing the rear) and between 4-8 inside outlets. He said he'll be back later this week for the install.
  17. Even though the insides of the garage aren't done, at least we can house the cars in them for now:
  18. You guys came out for the Ford Nationals and now the Chrysler Nationals but there was no Adams at the GM Nationals.
  19. So my girlfriend got me some new garage decor:
  20. About a month ago, I did an external detail on my Camaro as I wait for the finishing touches to the garage. Part of the detail I did was the liquid paint sealant and the glass sealant. Last night I decided to pick up the Camaro from my parents house and since we're taking it to the GM Nationals at Carlisle this weekend I brought it home. Well it's raining today so I figured I'd check to see how the car is holding up.
  21. A contractor stopped by today when I was outside with the dog. It appears the contractor is going to put in sheet rock walls after all. I wasnt sure if that was in our contract but i guess it is.
  22. Thanks guys. I'm on vacation for two weeks from work this week and next, so I've been able to help persuade the contractor to pick up the pace a little bit. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do an epoxy coated garage floor or go with the race deck floor covering.
