  1. Well here is the situation. I have the results. I will shut this contest down at 9:00 EST tonight instead of midnight. HOWEVER, the results are non-agreeable because I'll post my stock dyno sheet and my dyno from today and I cannot accept them as they are. BUT I am a man of my word and what is written in black and white will be posted for winners tonight. BUT do not fret for everyone else. I'm going back to the same place I got my stock dyno readings for a more accurate dyno numbers and I will once again make the same offer up at that time (to whoever doesn't win today). Plus, it helps the people who didn't win because you can make more educated guesses for the 2nd time around.
  2. So I'm going to offer up a contest for the members here. Tomorrow, I'm going to get the Camaro dynoed for my actual power numbers. So I'm going to offer up a gift certificate of Adam's products of $15 for HP and $15 for TQ. You can guess the HP number and TQ number. CLOSEST to the exact number without going over will win. AND YOU ONLY GET ONE HP GUESS AND ONE TQ GUESS!!! If you can guess correctly, BOTH the HP and TQ numbers exactly, you'll win a $50 gift certificate from me, for Adam's Polishes. This contest starts RIGHT NOW and goes till midnight tomorrow.
  3. the only way the non winners come back is if another coach "stole" them after the battle. Each coach in the first battle round had 2 steals. Battle Round1: 12 singers battling = 6 winners + 2 steals (non winners from other coaches) = 8 total for round 2 Battle Round 2: 8 singers battling = 4 winners + 1 steal = 5 total for live shows per coach
  4. welcome "neighbor" I'm right around the corner in Sayreville. I have a buddy who is very big into the Dodge Ram scene and goes to many Dodge truck and mopar events around the area.
  5. Buying her single on I-Tunes counts as votes
  6. It's going to be a 24' X 24' garage, 15 feet high (center peak) that's going to be heated and insulated. We are going to have a 25' X 24' concrete driveway connecting to the road. Just to give you an idea of where the garage is going to be. They may be hard to see in some of the pictures, but based upon the contractors plans, I mapped out the garage and driveway with the little orange hex key handles poking up from the ground. Here is where the approximate layout of the garage will be: Here is where the driveway is guessed to be: Some other assorted layout pictures, all guestimated based upon the contractors plans. Where the construction definitively gets masked off at, will be shown later:
  7. Well, it's not ready ... YET. For those who remember from my welcome thread, I posted the very hideous picture of our prized vehicles under 15 inches of snow: What had bothered me the most, is that we had signed the contract in September, with the contractor giving us the estimate that it should be completed BEFORE Christmas. Well here we are at the end of March and still no garage. But the good news is on the way. We spoke to the contractor and now that it's warming up, ground breaking is set to happen any day now. As of our conversation last week, they said ground breaking will most likely happen this week, but this stupid cold front we just got, along with a possible couple more inches of snow are most likely delaying it further. NEXT WEEK ... I'm seeing 50s and 60s for temperatures and no rain/snow scheduled. Even though it's still too soon for next weeks definite forecast, it's looking like we should have our garage up very shortly. As a result of the construction getting ready, unfortunately we had to dump the cars off at my parents house so they don't get damaged during construction: Stay tuned to this thread for future garage updates!!!
  8. This is basically the method that I used. Since these were my first sets, I wasn't using my Adam's stuff because I wanted to practice so I used one of the "other company's" products to perfect my technique and see what I can truly do. Plus, i want to use my good Adam's products on the Corvette and Camaro before applying them to these "other cars" Though Nick has mentioned using a drill, I actually used my PC 7424XP with the 4" focus pads for these processes. But here are the steps I used: 1- Wet sanded with 1000 grit sandpaper 2- Used the "Ultimate" Compound with the Adam's Severe Swirl removal pad (green one) 3- Followed up with the "Ultimate" polish on the Adam's polishing pad (white one) 4- Finished up with Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant on the Adam's Sealant pad (black/gray one) I had another friend show up today to work on her headlights:
  9. The first step is admitting you have an addiction. The second step is waiting for the Adam's staff to post up those awesome sales!!!
  10. You have no idea. Looking at them from the front after they were done, it only appeared to be a little bit brighter. However when I tested them out tonight, there was at least 10X more light on the road than previously. Thanks to my facebook posting, I have a line of people waiting for me to do this to their head lights.
  11. I see you didn't post that picture I point out to you the other day Great job though
  12. So I had some ugly looking trailblazer headlights so I took some time to research how to clean them up. So research was done, and now it was time to "nut up or shut up" (i love that movie, haha) Before: After: I extended an open invite on my Facebook for anyone who wanted to come over and get their head lights restored for a 12 pack of soda. Well, one friend actually stopped over and here are the results: Before: After:
  13. Hello my name is Matt and I think I'm addicted to buying Adam's products.
  14. The video was taken at my parents house so they dont have to worry. My neighbors at home have come to expect loud cars between the Camaro, corvette and trailblazer.
  15. Contract for the garage was signed in September. Township stalled and then it got too cold for the contractor to start but a garage is coming. Not yet. April 5th is a Tune Time meet here in NJ and they are offering dyno pulls. Before work dyno was 345 HP & 379 TQ Let me try to post my YouTube video from my phone.
