That would be cool. Next weekend I'll be in a car show, and I think the one after too. But we should set something up.
Are you talking about the Grace Church car shows? Or are they other car shows around town?

Thanks a bunch! Of course could use some bigger turbos, but on top of that the owner says that fuel lasts 2 months at a time, which is a big gain considering the rising prices of fuel!
No kidding. I will ask... with the bigger turbos, won't there be significantly more turbo lag (insert Evo VIII-X)? If they have thought of that, wouldn't one smaller turbo and one larger one be good for better gains and less lag in that small of an engine?

Here are the helpful videos from Adam's, for Adam's products owners and users. Enjoy.

I was wondering the same thing about eBay, it's ridiculous.
I think eBay takes a 10% commission right? And then PayPal fees since you use them. And since eBay owns PayPal, they are making double profit.
That is correct. That is one of the ways in which Meg Whitman (then CEO of Ebay) helped turn Ebay around back 5-10 years ago.

All components are pretty much spoken for (waiting until monday to get that shipping quote for everyone). Thank you for your patience.

Glad to see you taking on "proper" car care, earlier than I did.

Those came out AWESOME. Ours are wood so I feel kinda cheated that I can't use the "Adam's wood polish or wood protection spray"

Ok everyone. I have the following items available here (cost is only shipping, unless you feel generous ) All items are new and never been used.
1 32 oz sprayer head
1 16 oz sprayer head
1 Adam's funnel
1 Adam's grit guard
4 self cleaning Adam's nozzle bottle top replacements
(the white lid is not included)

RedAztec (Pete) and I are usually getting together and detailing something on Saturday afternoons. We should put something like that together, for everyone who is interested or has Adam's products.
-
That would've been cool. I was super busy yesterday though, same with the rest of the weekend. Next time.
There should be a ABQ Adams meet sometime, or just get together and detail the crap out of everything haha.

Nice job Joseph!!!! Looks great. Yes those little 1L TT engines go pretty quick. It isn't porsche TT fast but for a small car, IT MOVES
Well done.

Correct, one of our nice members Chris (mtnbiker326) put a couple oz. in a trial size bottle (one of those airplane travel bottles) from Walmart and sent to me, very nice of him indeed, as I didn't want to commit to a bottle or gallon without trying for myself, as I said above, my current product is 100% satisfying to me and my wife as I use on both our cars.
I love everything about the conditioner, it dries perfectly matte overnight, is not greasy, and does everything the Adam's team says it should. The scent is great on my nose, my wife wasn't the biggest fan though. It does dissipate, but even a few weeks later I still get a slight whiff when opening my car. I'm sticking to what I currently use since its good for both our cars (and happy wife = happy life) but I 100% wholeheartedly recommend Leather Conditioner to anyone and everyone!
I agree with the happy wife, happy life. Hopefully she will come around and get used to it for you.

Good job and thinkin there Adam!!!!

Looks good for a start there.

If it is clear coated, I would recommend washing and claying it (just like your paint). Then try hand applied polishes. If they are not strong enough, gently and carefully use a PC or cyclo (with the wheel OUT of the car). Either that or use the focus pads on a drill (VERY carefully) and then finish with BG and Americana.
-
While intentionally smelling the products should be avoided (they are chemicals after all), the smell of DS always makes me crave something sweet. Then I lose my appetite when I open Americana (I really wished it was either more vanilla or anything other than what it is now. I think I prefer Deep Wheel Cleaner to Americana).
I agree with the smell of detail spray. I also like the smell of rinseless. It also makes me crave something sweet

To make a point to my neighbors who on occasion wash their car with one single bucket of water (no hose!) I decided to take the foam bath to the next level with a piece of equipment my employer makes. This is a 1% Adams shampoo mixture, believe it or not. Skip to 20s sorry for the long pause at the start.
That is impressive. 1% only with almost snow action out of that sprayer.

Phil @ Detailers Domain I think recommends 3-4 oz in the Foam Cannon, 4-5 oz in the Gilmour
Is that straight product or watered down the rest of the way with water?
-
There is one thing I like about the Waterless Wash, it is that to my understanding it does not contain wax/gloss enhancers whereas the Rinseless wash does. I prefer NOT to have gloss enhancers or any additional fillers.
On that point, I would agree that waterless wash is the way to go. If you don't want any enhancers, yes, waterless wash is your product of choice.
-
Welcome... I guess
What products are you working with?
-
Unfortunately there isn't a "glass filler" system Adam's sells. Your best bet is to get the department to replace the windshield. You can clay and seal it again if not but there isn't really that much you can do for it. My windshield, with 60+k on it is almost as bad as you describe and I have just kept cleaning, claying and sealing it. (for now)
Thank you for serving (BTW).

This has been covered before. The answer is no it's not better. Detail spray is better. Ww has been around for a while and now rinseless, they would have changed up the process if there was a benefit.
I do agree with Wardo in that detail spray is better... but, is it any more or less efficient as a lubricant, regardless of shine enhancement (detail spray) or wax enhancement (rinseless wash), no.
Thus the recommendation here that rinseless wash (diluted to 1:16...waterless wash) can be safely and cheaply used as a substitute for detail spray with the claying step of paint cleaning and correction. Even if you were a little liberal with your ratio, say up to 1:8 or double the rinseless in the mixture, it will be even more potent for just a few cents more on the dollar per 16oz bottle worth of product.
Compared to the complete cost of detail spray at full price (even with 10% forum discount). It is just the economical way to go. A 16 oz bottle of detail spray ordered is $12.95 (or $11.65 discounted) + shipping whereas the rinseless diluted (1:8 or 16) is on the order of ($6.95 for the new empty bottle + $17.95/8 or 16) = $6.95 + 2.24 or $1.12 = $9.19 or $8.07 (for the first time use of the bottle) Afterwards it will be just $2.24 for 1:8 and $1.12 for 1:16. All this vs a full $12.95 (or $11.65) + shipping.

Get used to it Jason. Your logic on the issue is crystal clear to me.
