  1. First of all, know that I love Adam's stuff.  Living in Denver, it's great to be able to pop up to the HQ and pick up what I need, when I need it (be it Louisville or Thornton).

One thing that might be helpful is a product line flowchart/compatibility chart.   I acknowledge there may be a downside to saying "don't use this with that...." and I also realize that if you watch all the Adam's vids this information can be collected, but here's an example:

H20 Guard and Gloss:  This is a great product--one of the best out there.   But supposedly you don't use this with ceramic coated cars.   So, there might be a "wax path" chart.   Then perhaps a "sealant path" chart.   Finally, a "ceramic path" chart---with attending why one would use any particular approach.

As I've said, I think the content is already out there--but in multiple places.   For instance, in the original ceramic vids, Adam says one would use this when the vehicle is kept outside, driven in the winter/chemicals, etc.  Whereas someone on the "wax path" (or whatever you want to call it) is waxing a show car or a car that's kept inside and driven infrequently.  Like I said, these aren't necessarily secrets, but for a casual user (or even a sorta-casual, sorta-weekend detailer user) it's nice to have ready reference.   Heck, maybe it's out there and I've missed it.

If a handful of people don't buy it all right away, they can't turn around and put it on eBay for big $$$ to sell to all the other hypebeasts ?

I see it now---all the marketing prior to release had three bottles with different colored labels which didn't identify what they were.   now, the page listing identifies these are the same products with an "untamed scent."   So, they're for people that buy something for a scent.

Much like chemical guys, garry dean, and some others, it seems like a good way to confuse your simple and straightforward product line.   I recall what I'll refer to as the "adam's philosophy" of products explained at a clinic at the old location--one product to do one thing.  very little overlap.  a simple name for the product so you could pick it up and understand what it is for.   "untamed" appears to not be in this vein.

"untamed" seems stupid.   But then what do I know?

  3. So some guy that works at adam's in the marketing department sells clothes, but on the side and in some unknown interval, markets detailing products, which are then sold through a competitor's site (adam's)?

and these detailing products (which apparently don't even have names), who only a few people have heard of, (because I assure you they are not on any forum or FB group anywhere) sell out in minutes?

  4. I have a McCulloch 1275.   I got it on Amazon Warehouse deals for I think around $115.  I think they're normally $149.  The big difference between it and the 1385 is the 1385 has an extra 10lbs of PSI, and a much larger tank.  you get a few more accessories with the 1385, also.   I flip flopped between the 1275, the 1375 and the 1385.   the 1375 has the same PSI as the 1385, but with a smaller tank

for my uses as a hobbyist/non professional, the 1275 is nice.   I get about a minute per oz of water (it holds 48oz).

Look at Amazon warehouse deals if you decide to go with a McCulloch.   In fact, i'm cleaning my kitchen floor today with the 1275!

So I apparantly stupidly bought a SunJoe pressure washer and it does not connect to my foam cannon. I asked SunJoe for an adapter and they don't have one. Has anyone else run into this that can point me in the right direction? Was really looking forward to using my foam cannon today and I can't :(

    Thanks

    Doug

would likely help if you posted a pic.

I thought Karcher were the only ones with proprietary fittings.

  6. also, while not exactly your situation, i have lived in two separate states during a tax year and been self employed in one but a regular employee in another.   Turbotax had no problem with that.

as you likely know, there are different levels of turbotax, and the more expensive ones handle more complex situations.   i don't know if your situation is particularly complex, but it might be worth a call to turbotax to ask which would be the best product for your situation

  7. I'm not attending as I'm in Colorado, but one thing i'd suggest--if you pick a car to use as your demo, pick on that needs some work--one that will show some results.   I've been to several demos and whoever it is wants to stroke the nicest car out there--that came in at 90-95% perfect.   Maybe the person putting on the demo thinks they're doing something by working on a car like that, but it isn't impressive at all.   I'm not saying dig a car out of a mudhole in a junk yard, but show what you and your products can do on daily driven and used cars.

Later down the road that all will be done

I don't know you, don't know your budget, or your priorities, but take this for what it's worth:  do it now if you can swing it (at least the paint, if not the floor).

you've already got a potential headache with the amount of crap in the garage in that photo.  years from now, all the crap you accumulate will just make it harder and harder to get it done.
