My dodge rams running boards have kind of a honey comb design and I'm worried I won't be able to get the coating in there,even trying to clean then were difficult

im starting the paint coating tomorrow and was wondering if its better to use the coating prep on panel then go right to using the ceramic coating or should i use the coating prep on the whole truck then ceramic coat the whole thing?

Strip washed and got half the claying done. Finish that tomorrow then going to spot correct some spots then ceramic coat it

If you let it sit that's a bad idea. Get that paint off now while it's fresh. I found a few specs today and they were much harder to get off. For the paint just try a clay bar. Not sure what acetone is but if ocdrifter says to use it must be good

Your clay will also turn to mush. Mine did. Keep the clay,polishes wax,h20 and even sealant indoors.

Get your self a couple of there microfiber sponges. 2 buckets with grit guards. Paint sealant,americana wax and some detail spray. Maybe some gloss and gaurd for once a month use. And yes definitely clay it right away. You'd be surprised at the contaminants in your paint. Gets some leather conditioner to if you have leather. Also to dry your car get a ultra plush drying towel. They are awesome. Use that with some detail spray after you wash
