Thanks for the reply guys. The film on Tacomas is pretty thick and I have some interior plastic tools for removing panels and what not that will work perfect. Will give that one a try for sure! Thanks again.

My neighbor just bought a used Tacoma and he came over earlier this weekend to ask me about the protection film and wax buildup as mine has it as well. On his truck at the bottom along the entire truck, as well in front of his rear fender, he has a clear film that was installed. The original owner seems to have kept up the truck with the paint, but he did not tape off these edges, which has now created a white buildup on the edges. How does one remove this buildup? I tried to use some all purpose cleaner and didn't have luck. Almost need something with a point that I can somewhat scratch the buildup off, but don't want to do that. Also tried a clay bar on a rear section and the issue with this is the edges would remove a portion of the clay bar and would create additional buildup on the edge. He truck is black and with the white residue it can be pretty noticeable if you look at it. He was asking why mine did not have it and I explained to him that I tape off these edges which he was intrigued about. I tried to do a search on the mobile application and did not have much luck with keywords.

I'm not mad and I understand that you guys are telling me to contact customer service. I am giving my review of the product, not posting something up to complain about it hoping someone reaches out to me to say, sorry, that shouldn't of happened. The whole point of a forum anyways is to give reviews and experience. If this product was brand new, absolutely I would be contacting customer service. But, I have been using this spray bottle. I don't think it is right to contact Adams about this issue when I have already been using the product for at least a few months now. But the review is giving a person(s) his/her opinion on the product? I'm just trying to let others know about a product whether or not it is good or bad. Many of us are spending our hard earned dollars on a product that we are expecting to meet our needs.

I'm not going to call customer service and waste his/her time over a sprayer. I'm letting people know as the website doesnt post people's reviews. Of the two that I bought, both of the sprayers don't work.

Now my second bottle just busted. This time my pressure washer hose knocked over the bottle. Walked over towards my pressure washer and noticed that I had a large water spot, or so I thought. I keep my pressure washer pulled back when I wash cars. Well, was not expecting this to happen with it just being knocked over. The bottle was only half full.

Wow Dylan, the Mark II is amazing! You guys did a phenomenal job. Just tried it out today and cannot believe how great of a machine it is! Great addition to the units I own.

I just used the blue clay for the second time since I ordered it a few months ago. Hard as a rock and I could not mash it or anything. Truck I was washing I was having to remove some stain from a fence overspray. I was able to get some of it off with the clay, but it took me forever. Lucky enough I live a block away from a store and bought me a different clay bar. Thank goodness as I think I would still be finishing up the truck.

What's the possibility of shipping just fresheners for a decent cost? I don't need any products, but would like to stack up some fresheners for my work truck. Was going to buy 10, but with shipping costs, was out of the question.

I would have thought they used a different container than the current version as I would think I am not the only one that has had a problem with the lid. I will melt what I have left and place it in a screw lid container. Thanks.

With the Labor Day sale I actually placed two orders. The last night the sale was going, I decided to try out the Patriot Wax. I have never been a fan of paste waxes, mainly because they had always seemed too difficult to remove with the humidity down in Texas. But, thought I might as well try it as I do enjoy the liquid wax/polish/sealants Adams sells. This morning I received my order and have two questions: 1.). With Patriot being the "premier" wax for Adams, why is the cheapest can used? Why not use a twist can? I thought that you want waxes sealed when not in use. When I opened up the package from Adams, the lid was off of the can and I believe some of the wax had melted and run out of the container. I cannot even keep the lid on the wax. For the time being, I have taken tape and wrapped it around the lid to keep the container closed and sealed while in my fridge. 2.) Since the lid does not stay on, could I melt the remaining wax of what is left and place it in a container that I can seal? I assume I would be able to since the wax is liquid when poured, but want to make sure. After use, I was pretty impressed with the product as it was much easier to remove than what I have dealt with others in the past. But it is still frustrating when the product that you receive is not what you were expecting package wise.

The sprayer itself is leaking. I have submitted many reviews prior and noticed they never show up on the website (both good and bad). Try to be truthful of the product and I guess it is never approved? And no profanity in my end, ha ha. It should not matter if it is an Adams or Non Adams product in my opinion.

Well, I assume Adams Moderators flags all of the reviews on the website. Reason I say that is one of the dilution bottles that I purchased is already leaking after only two details. Using some degreaser that is diluted in half. Wrote a review as well as some other products and it is not showing on the website, just still 4-5 stars?

Anyone know where you can buy the spout tops? I just received the new pump tips for the 2 stage polish and I like the old spout tops much more. The pumps are not springing back, I am having to pull the top up to then dispense more liquid. Also, I like the spout tops as I can put the bottles in my detailing apron. With the pump tops, it makes it difficult if bending over and taking the chance of dispensing more liquid. The spout top I have had seen better days, but has lasted me for a long time. Would use them from the old bottle, but they are ready to be retired.
