Yeah that doesn't sound right. No Adams clay I've ever used has been that much of a PITA. I'd call them and see if they can sort it out for you!

so this doesn't need agitation like the wheels do? I was using this method on my white truck last week, but simply letting it dwell and then hosing it off wasn't enough to remove the particles. I ended up re-claying it with the 50/50 mix still on the paint, and then they came off. Hopefully that is an okay thing for my clay bar and paint? thanks for the video!

Just did this on the 2006 dodge ram recently bought. Mine were bad enough that they needed to be wet sanded first. I wet sanded with 3,000 grit sand paper, then did the two step correction that I would normally do on paint. After that, I topped the headlights with two coats of sealant. It won't be a permanent fix, but they will stay clear for a few months.

See he KNOWS how to do all this stuff, but he is just too damn lazy! haha He does it here and there with his other car, but the truck just doesn't get the same love... I was hoping that maybe the sealant would help him since its pretty minimal work, but maybe we're going to have to get him bottle of guard and gloss since thats even LESS work. Dylan, feel like doing any worst case scenario testing for guard and gloss? haha

We all have that friend that doesn't take care of their car. The ones that make us OCD perfectionists cringe and wince in pain. I have one of these friends, and decided to give him a bottle of Liquid paint sealant this past christmas to use on his truck. Its a 2005 dodge ram with black paint, that at the time, was just beginning to show signs of clear coat failure since it has lived, and continues to live, its life out doors. He washed his truck right after christmas, clayed it, and applied liquid paint sealant to the drivers side of the truck before deciding that this whole detailing thing was just too much work, leaving the rest of the truck unprotected. Fast forward to today (june aka six months later) he shows up at my house. His truck hasn't been washed since december when he applied the liquid paint sealant, so I decide to take matters into my own hands and wash the dang thing so I can sleep at night... THIS my friends, is the ultimate test of Adams Liquid paint sealant. The photos you are about to see are of six month old Adam's liquid paint sealant that was hastily applied, and after application, the vehicle was not washed for SIX MONTHS, and lived the entirety of those six months outdoors. The sealant has seen rain, mud, dust, lots of southern California sun, and a ton of miles since application, but the stuff still beads water. I was completely amazed. This is the side with NO sealant. I use the liquid paint sealant pretty much solely on trucks and SUV's since thats what I have. It lasts me a good long time, especially since the liquid paint sealant is something that you only apply every few months. My last bottle did my long bed f150 3 times, an explorer twice, a dodge ram 2500 once, a corolla once, and a tesla once and I still have a little bit left! my favorite adam's product by far!

that interior was disgusting! I did the truck of a family friend who uses it as a work truck for his heavy equipment business, and hadn't cleaned the interior in a year or more. That was horrible, so I know how much work it is. Nice job!

I actually have both adams and megs soaps in the garage, and since I was washing a friend's car this weekend, decided to use the megs for the first time in a few months. I seriously could not believe how much more megs soap I had to use to get close to the amount of foam I get from the blue adam's soap, and despite that, I ran out of water and soap in the bucket. Normally with the Adam's stuff, I have soapy water left over. Im not one to jump on a company band wagon, but adams soap is seriously amazing compared to the Megs stuff.

id be into a leather sent. Anything else is kind of gas station tacky. I could maybe do a detail spray sent as well...

Awesome truck! I love raptors. (edit: please put a full long travel kit on it ) what exactly might this new mystery coating that you're debating on be? Am I sensing the rumored ceramic type coating getting closer to production?

I use the pad to apply the sealant as well, since i feel like the foam applicator seems to swallow most of the sealant instead of putting it on the car... Kind of a bummer since it does a much better job of getting nice thin even coats.

Thats a great looking truck! Glad someone else on here has a thing for the CTD's! I came from megs products like you and I can honestly say you're in for a big surprise with the adam's line. Its all just so much better than the megs stuff! I think my personal Adam's favorites are the liquid paint sealant and the interior detailer. both do a kick *** job compared to megs. Let us know if you have any questions after you watch the videos!

Yeah there are just a lot of RIDS per panel. they seem to be just deep enough to not be reachable with a polisher sadly, Im going to have to settle with what I got out of it, but I just wasn't really sure just how much I could expect it to improve since Ive never done this before. Also Im sorry guys for the lack of updates and photos! Ive been on the hunt for a daily driver truck for a few months now, and finally bought a 2006 ram 2500 last Wednesday so Its going to need some adam's love as well! Trying not to get ahead of myself here, but Im looking for some advice on that truck as well. In the center line of the roof, just in front of and behind the sunroof, the roof has two quarter sized spots where the clear coat has gone cloudy (doesn't look bird poop related). Because of that, Im going to avoid doing paint correction of the roof and just do clay and seal etc. The paint on this truck is in very good shape otherwise but would definitely benefit from a little correction. As of right now, the clear on the hood is in perfect with no cloudiness, but it has also been exposed to the same things as the roof. should worry about weakening the hood by doing a mild paint correction since it may be already weakened, but not to the point where it shows? any thoughts?
